Ok lets see you have disconnected from the grid and put the new drywall installed the newest power system then comes a EMP well the wiring will send the boosted power to your equipment and smoked them period!
Now if you where able to put all wiring in conduit and ground the metal conduit then you may have a chance!
Are have all wiring in the ground! Even old WWII underground and Mountain Bunkers are encased in a metal shielding!
But wouldn't it protect the devices inside the house? As to the wiring, would it do any good if the entire electric grid goes down?
Well that nice the wiring is in the walls so the outside siding needs to be EMP proof!
