States need to start doing this on other issues, too.  Pull the plug on DC power.  Currently, in the commonwealth of Virginia, anyone with a drug charge is denied food stamps and section 8 housing, even if disabled.  Not all states follow this draconian law.

Way overdue.  I believe it was Texas who said they'd through the UN police out if they tried to meddle in some other state affair, which I don't remember now what it was.  I think it was Rick Perry who said it.

Rand Paul just introduced a bill in the senate to legalize medical MJ. Main problem in most states is that the police unions are fighting it because they get so much federal money from the war on drugs and another problem is the UN says Colorado and Washington states are violating UN regulations and sent a group to DC to complain. The time to close the UN is way overdue.
