I've seen a different version a couple years ago. It seems overly complicated, but maybe security features require it? I just read an article about how the rest of the world doesn't have look-alike money like we do, all the same color, but maybe that's why this new stuff is so off-putting, it doesn't look like money, it looks like clips from a magazine or something.
