We have received several inches of rain this afternoon, and more is on the way. There has been flooding. And it came down so heavy, there were 4 accidents on I-81, which diverted the big rigs and other traffic to the streets. I couldn't make it to my night class the traffic was so bad. All three of the main routes were jammed.

We've had a freaking drought for 6 weeks. We finally got relief this week...
We have heard for years (I'm thinking James McCanney) that a lot of water is coming in with the PX system.

About two weeks ago the same thing happen in Mountain View, Mo. All of the low dips where to much for tall four well trucks to pass thru, the small air port did not have water on the runway but everything else was covered so if you landed you could not use the taxiway to get off the runway!
The last few days have been in the low- to mid-70s, so it does feel like the seasons are changing. It hasn't rained for a couple of days.
This has been the craziest year I have ever see. It went from 108 to 69 in four days this summer, going up and down like yesterday was 89 and tomorrow is going to be 62. Last night an unpredictable thunderstorm came through. tonight is suppose to happen again. I do not expect the weather to ever be normal again. So what happens this winter will it be this erratic and go from 30 to to minus ten in two days or less. I am planning on it and my back yard is pilled with firewood. What is going to happen when the rain bombs turn into snow bombs and you get 8 feet of snow. The weather around the world is insane and it is only a matter of time before it affects all of us. Media is purposely not reporting it.

The weather is nuts that's for sure. Last Friday, it was 87 degrees. Today, 55 degrees and rainy. Go figure. Yuck.
I will. This is what happened right before the 4th of July weekend. My son was driving when a deluge hit and he couldn't see to pull over and hit a cement meridian and bent the rim and destroyed the tire.

So you just got what is now called a rain bomb and it continues to happen. I have a friend in Iowa who just went through it and it devastated the crops that were ready for harvest. Be safe my friend. Keep us informed.
