I signed up, on-line, for an absentee ballot early October. I never received it. I called the Voter Registrar today and they said it was mailed out on October 14th. It's too late to mail out another one, so I have to go in to vote. They are open for early voting Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Monday, so I'll get 'er done. But, how about that? My ballot didn't make it across town in 14 days. Must just be a coincidence, huh?

My state is 100% mail in ballot. I went to the old voting center in my county, not taking walk-ins, just using a drop box for the mail in ballot. Well I will drop it off alright, 2 days before election time to minimize opportunities for "changes" to my vote. Perhaps, in this state, it's a forgone conclusion anyhow, portland always overshadows the other geographic 3 quarters of the state with their flakey political priorities and population density. Oregon always gets counted too late to make an effective change to anything.
Right Byron!

I will be voting in person. I do not trust mail in voting.
