  • Good for you Dianna for setting a good example.

  • Your right Dianna, most people would just say I didn't put it there and step over it.

  • People there must have some sense. Depends, I have found, on the cultural make up of the population. I am a 'pick up trash' person, and I remember when I was young with three little ones, there was a pop bottle thrown on the road in front of my house. Of course, I picked it up. I forget who said to me...why do you pick up things from the road? Because it was in front of my house. Because if I ran over it I could get a flat tire. Because my kids could get cut from it. Much easier to just bend over and pick it up.
  • Yes it is Dianna it is like a giant pine forest with places carved out for towns and people respect it. There is a road sign that caught my attention it says " help keep Idaho Beautiful please don't litter" where in other states you see " $500 fine for littering" apparently it works because there is hardly any litter on the highways.

  • Idaho is a very beautiful state!
  • I really like living in Idaho, we do not cater to illegals and are not welfare oriented. Police don't hide to pass out tickets. The speed limits are higher so there are fewer tickets anyway. The people here are much friendlier than other places I  have lived.

  • I lived in Idaho Falls, Idaho for 1 year back in 2005.  This  motto of the state is new to me and times have been a changing. (Bob Dylan)
