Just an FYI if you spot a source discussing the EAS (Emergency Alert System), but calling it by it's old name EBS (Emergency Broadcast System), or quoting government officials calling it EBS, I personally, would question the source's veracity. It has not been officially referred to as the EBS for almost 20 years, when the system was upgraded and changed significantly, though seamlessly, and without notice. The EAS is far more comprehensive in coverage than the old system,fully digital, and no one involved with it calls it EBS. Emergency BS.
