    When the eruption does occur it will happen because of bouncy. The pressure of the rising melted magna . If a program like this does exist, it would be like chipping at rock with a piece of rotten wood.

    If 5 billions tons of methane was released in the atmosphere .. Life on earth would cease..temperatures would be too hot to sustain human life on the surface. Maybe in underground bases where life could contine for 1000 of years but not on the surface, off planet like moon bases would work also to preserve the human race and Mars if the Martains let us.
