Thanks Kim. There seems to be much discussion concerning Peter as well as evidence that the Apostle Peter never went to those regions but it was a "Simon Peter" the sorcerer that went to Rome. It was Paul in Rome and those outer regions, sent to the Gentile nations. And you are correct, one day we will all see the truth but always remember Lucifer/Satan was the "light-bearer" in heaven before his fall, and his ministers are transformed into ministers of light.
Which is why I am always praying for mitigation...
And I agree the smoke of evil has invaded the church (the Vatican) and it has been there on and off for centuries now. It is said in prophecy that this will be defeated because the evil elite want to remove all traces of GOD and Christ from society in order to remain in control. The elite are afraid of the belief in God and Christ because this is not helpful to them! They realize the power in the light the elite hate this! So they want people living in sin and division in order to keep people in turmoil and hating one another. They want people going against universal law and the laws of the one true Creator of all things of the Universe, God of whom we are all a part of and connected to. The elite WANT US DISCONNECTED FROM GOD/SOURCE which is God is also love. The elite want their own made up religion/God for people to buy as this way they can have total global control. As said in prophecy they will try and the true church will go under ground for a brief time until the elite are defeated.
I hear the information about Paul and I take a stand on the fence lol because this was thousands of years ago and information can be twisted and added to. The only way we all will get truths on shades of gray is through the world wide Divine event of the Illumination of Souls which I hope happens some day soon....
As to the Catholic church (not referring Christianity overall) I do think that the Catholic church originated from Peter the Apostle. There has been so many splits and different religions created out of different views of Jesus.
I can only say that the accusations against Paul are unfounded and came from the pits of the Deceiver but each to his own calling. I think anyone with an open mind would gain much from the books I mentioned.
Jen, yes there is a lot of corruption in the church, starting with the self-proclaimed apostle, Paul, basically took the idea of Jesus' death (not his message) and spun it into an amalgam of various Greek and pagan thought and wove them into a tapestry called Christianity. After researching Paul, I've gone on to tracing bits and pieces of the concept of reincarnation that weren't edited out of the bible. Origen made some interesting comments, but the internet is flooded with misquotes. He did take a stand against reincarnating from human to animal, and some take that as meaning reincarnation as a whole. Origen was an original thinker and had some interesting speculations. There must have been some truth in what he said because he was condemned as a heretic several centuries after his death. The argument that reincarnation was edited out of the bible because it would empower the people (and, thus, disempower the ruling class) has merit. Anyway, that's my two cents, adjusted for inflation.

Interesting topic Byron. I'm currently ready The Awesome Potential of Man and just finished Where is the True Church and its Incredible History. Both are available thru the links, free and available to print as a PDF or you can request a free copy via mail. It will take me some time to do a complete study but I've found much valuable information on the usurped church, changing of holy days and holidays and the fallen angels that appear as ministers of light.
Agreed Cheryl There are no accidents and everything is planned comes to mind. Maybe all we have to do is read Revaluations and quit guessing at an outcome we choose.
