Bill you can be sure some of the manufactures are playing both sides out of greed. On black Friday every second two people were getting background checks from the FBI it was the biggest single day for gun sales ever.
Every time there is a false flag event the Guns and Rifles disappear off the selves! More Guns and Rifles it like arming the population!
We already know that false flag events are created to take MSM's eye off of what they where actually getting ready to jump on! Hint the Turkey?Isle thing.
Do you thing the ones that has the job of building the Rifles, Guns are evolved some how, to create business?
Jim and Byron
I still do not understand the gun issue maybe because I was not raised in a family where guns were present. I am glad you understand how I view things from a different perspective.
No apology needed it is not easy to understand unless you know the real history of the world which is purposely being not taught in school. It is even hard to find and then it has been tampered with.
My applogies to you Jim and Byron.
I sincerely think that I do not understand well enough the gun situation. But at the same time, I am not aware of issues in Canada regarding guns. Yes of course, organized crime group are well armed and they have terrorized neighbourhood during their territory wars especially the Indo-Chineese drug cartel. We do have crimes like any other countrys but there are more people not owning guns then people that are.
As for the Muslims here in Canada, they are not worse then any other group. Some Imam are radicals, and do not follow the Canadians law, but they are few. In fact, one Muslim community in Toronto actually kick out their Imam for being too radical. The First Muslim immigrants arrived in Manitoba in the 1930's.
Other religous group have imposed their view. One in particular are the Ascidict Jewish. They are anti women right and have the highest birth rate per capita. But like any others, they have to accept municipal, provincial and federal laws.
Our problem now is child marriage where Canadian born girls are sent back to the old countries to get married. Another is Honour Killing. The Chafia case polorized the media for a few months, but all 3 family members were jailed for 25 years.
So it is very hard for me to understand the gun issue and Muslim issues. My appologies again.
There will always be psychopaths and people kill people not guns. People can snap at anytime and gun registration will will only catch a few of them. England is saying the same thing to us because their crime rate went up like Australia's did. In America the worst crime rate happens in the democratically controlled cities with very tough gun control. Putin just came out and told The US not to give up your guns. The real figures on gun violence are far different from what the government has to tell us. Oblunder had the FBI do a study and it said where there are more guns there is less crime. O was not going to release this disturbing information. Russia had their biggest genocide after they registered their guns and the soldiers knew right where to go to get them. I remember the flood that happened I think it was in Quebec that people were told to leave their houses because of no power, then the police went door to door to collect the guns. Canada is set to receive thousands of Muslims and you are going to have the same fate as Europe and soon America. Almost every mass shooting in America shows that the one who committed it was on psychotropic drugs which make them crazy. Gun violence in America has been created and no registration can stop it. We have more death by police than citizens so should we ban police.
Our second amendment is not for hunting it is there to protect us from an out of control government, the framers of our constitution knew their world history. Governments have killed more people than all the wars combined.
In Canada we do not have a 2nd amendment like the one in your country. The reason for the registry is a very good reason. Even before there was Isis and Daesh, Quebec faced a very emotional situation at the Polytechnique. 14 women were killed on 06 Dec 1989 simply because they were women. Here are more details:
Twenty-five-year-old Marc Lépine, armed with a Mini-14 rifle and a hunting knife, shot 28 people, killing 14 women, before committing suicide. He began his attack by entering a classroom at the university, where he separated the male and female students. After claiming that he was "fighting feminism" and calling the women "a bunch of feminists," he shot all nine women in the room, killing six. He then moved through corridors, the cafeteria, and another classroom, specifically targeting women to shoot. Overall, he killed fourteen women and injured ten other women and four men in just under 20 minutes before turning the gun on himself. His suicide note claimed political motives and blamed feminists for ruining his life. The note included a list of 19 Quebec women whom Lépine considered to be feminists and apparently wished to kill. Since the attack, Canadians have debated various interpretations of the events, their significance, and Lépine's motives. Many feminist groups and public officials have characterized the massacre as an anti-feminist attack that is representative of wider societal violence against women. Consequently, the anniversary of the massacre has since been commemorated as the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. Other interpretations emphasize Lépine's abuse as a child or suggest that the massacre was simply the isolated act of a madman, unrelated to larger social issues.Still other commentators have blamed violence in the media and increasing poverty, isolation, and alienation in society, particularly in immigrant communities.
The incident led to more stringent gun control laws in Canada. It also introduced changes in the tactical response of police to shootings, changes which were later credited with minimizing casualties at the Dawson College shootings.
Harper our ex prime minister has been housted in the 19 Oct 15. In order to win this past election, he started to hint that it was OK to have firearmes in isolated area of Canada. Guns are available in Canada, but they are controlled. You need to take courses on safety feature and when and where you are allowed to use them. In my opinion a registry is a good deterrent to these kind of violent act.
Because the previous registry was destroyed by the Harper ex government and because of the Polytechnique incident, Quebec wants a registry not to control people right, but to prevent such an incident from ever happening again.
Mostly Genocide more people have been killed by their governments than in all wars combined.
