    The silica cuts the scales off the insects and they dry out, I just de wormed my dog without giving her a poison pill. put this on a trail of ants and they will be gone in 20 minutes. FLEAS  dead in one app keep out of pets eyes. PUT a teaspoon in  your coffee a couple times a week to clean your intestines and remove heavy metals.

    I used DE with great success this past summer in treating fleas on my cats.  I used a flea comb to apply the DE.  I can also be used to kill parasites in both animals and human (yes, food grade is necessary and drink a lot of water because it can cause constipation), as well as an insecticide in the garden.

    this use of diatomaceous earth i was not aware of. must be food grade
