  • Still it is scary to be stuck in this type of situation. The mob attitude is very threatening. It appear that Sandy was an eye opener of things that could happen any time and just bring you to your knees.

  • In my area the local walmart lost power to the cashrigesters, etc, a few years ago while I was in the store.  There were no problems at all with the people.  Everyone who was not in the checkout just continued shopping since the lights were still on.  But there was one other problem not mentioned in the artical.  All the door would not work!  We were all locked in!  If it had been a fire that took out the power, I would have been the first to smash a door out with something very big!  I wonder just how many stores in the country are set up that way?  You would think that the doors would be on a special circut.  Perhaps I should talk to the store security and have them look into it.
