It was a doozy today. Besides the requisite deluge, the lightning was crazy. I parked in my driveway for twenty minutes waiting for the rain to stop. You know the rule, for every second between the light flash and the thunder means the storm is a mile away.
I was surrounded by white flashes of light, one-thousand, two-thousand, three-thousand... where's the thunder? ... six-thousand, seven-thousand, another flash, eight-thousand, nine-thousand... where the heck is the thunder? Then suddenly there was a huge boom, then it went back to intermittent white flashes all around me with no thunder.
Don't ever get out of your car or be touching the ground in a storm like that!

It may be the result of a geomagnetic storm. The last WSO, the one with the sun and the huge coronal hole, said yesterday, today, and tomorrow it would hit. We were under a severe storm watch from 4pm to 10pm.
It is now 7:18 pm Pacific time. The thunder shower, which is still active, started at 6:36 pm. It is the second one today. It appear that most major populated areas have rain or/and thunder showers daily. There must some visual sign that the TPTB do not want us to see. It is the first time since many years that we have so much rain.
