  • Some guy at the FDA probably got hit on the head by a few walnuts.  So he took revenge on Diamond.  I am sure they have a good team of lawyers.  Probably just have to change their advertising clames, or just say nothing at all on the package.  If however the FDA wins and the nut becomes a drug, it is time to leave the country  and find a place where a nut is a nut!
  • Quite easy to grow. Our Neighbor across the street has one. Every year, the squirrels line up to get their share of the harvest. The little creature do not seem to remember where they put their nuts, and every year, we get one nut or two sprout on our yard. I have one in the front yard that is at least 4 ' hight ( 1.2 m). You need to be in a rustic zone 6 for it to grow.
  • Walnuts you say.....how hard are they to grow lol....

  • This is ludicrous (the nicest word I could come up with)! Dr. Rima where are YOU?

Walnuts are a staple in our house - don't know where the ones we purchase originate, as they aren't a name branded, but instead, plain packaged. I'd support a fight with FDA, along with any company, over this.

FDA is a bunch of NUTS!

  • Bunch of... When it is good for us, they say it is not. Well I drink pomegranate juice every morning and puts walnuts in my cookies. I am not addicted yet.
  • And that is bankable b.s., dontcha know?
  • Actually  they are  full of  Big Pharma and  Monsanto  dollars  :P
  • The FDA is full of bs.
  • And in the meantime  GMO  crops  are  being  approved without regulations. Yeppers, all is right  with the   world  of   big  pharma  and Monsanto!
