    Good advice!  But it is good to have an ARTIC SLEEPING BAG!  They are silk lined and hold the body heat.  You take off your shirt and can stay warm, actualy hot.  I remember waking up one morning with my bag half open and three inches of snow on my chest!  And yes I was warm!

    You never know if you will have to bug-out in the winter.  Make sure to have those materials in your bug-out bags, if possible.
