A book I am now reading speaks to this issue. It is the Lost Teachings of Jesus (Book 4), Good and Evil: Atlantis Revisited, by Elizabeth Clare and Mark Prophet. Same genetic nonsense, different millenia.
One of the reasons many cultures were destroyed (including Atlantis) was the manipulation of dna (to change gender, etc). And the mixing of human and animal dna to create new creatures. This is an abomination. Universal law and nature do not put up with it for very long.
