Actually, most Arabs are considered Caucasian. They speak a Semitic language, which has historically been viewed as Caucasian. Of course, Arabs could also be mixed with other races. But the guy who did the shooting didn't particularly look mixed with Asian or African. But since they have brown skin, they are considered non-white.
