Researcher Charlotte Harris Rees discusses Asian maps dating as far back as 4,000 years ago that show the coastlines of the Americas. Picking up on the work of her father who collected these maps, she suggested that the ancient Chinese were seafaring and traveled to America far before Columbus’ arrival. As further evidence, she cited genetic markers that are shared only by Asians and Native Americans.

I just found one of my old map books published in 1965, I had it longer then I thought. There is a shot of Antartica and one from the 1500's. I also got a book of songs sung by sailers in the 1400's. The book is from the 1500's. Yes before the PC, I was into books!
There are other books that talk of the Rees maps. I knew of them in the 70's, and have several of the books with the maps in them. Including the Reeses maps. There are OTHER maps also of the ancient world. The thinking being that the ancients did them from hot air balloons.
Jak, Many mountains are formed when the plates are pushed into each other. The Western US is a fine example of that. Ther are ledgens told by the indians of the day when the mountains grew.
It certainly is a historical moment in time. A history very few will survive and even fewer will ever know about.

Could be, First a pole shift. Then the Earth rotation change and with that lower gravitational force to the centre of the earth, and then comes the expanding earth theory into play, wich I was at first sceptical of but am now pretty sure that only such a force could create such mountain regions like we have today. If, it happens it will take a few years, filled with devistation to mankind (Biblical) Something no one on this earth could be prepaired for. To me something like the changing of a season. I would love to be a part of such an event even if it was the last event I was to see in this life.
