Let's go straight to the Bottom line and analyse it upwards.

Why will they abandon the the ISS in mid-November?
Because it.."shall fall with a great crash. It will appear as a blue star", but really, NASA and Russia's space agancy could not relied on getting supplies to the station as we all heard the news their recent rocket launch of cargo ship crashed. They are still having trouble with another launch so the ISS has to be de-man.
Why in Novemebr?
The DUST tail of the comet actually sweep through like a curve behind the the GAS tail so as to come later in time than the gas tail. (I think also that the fact that it is brokened up makes the dust tail goes slower as it lose the momentum from the force behind it)
So how does the disintegrated Elenin still affective?
Some say the disintegration even makes the dust tail spread even wider than it would (albeit, not as concentrated but still good enough to bring down a space station and satelites) and therefore will increase the scope of it brushing with Earth's space.
Wow, there you have it. The Blue Kachina according to the Hopi is going to be the space station falling down, and just as well for the timing that the it will have to be abandoned during that period of November .Now I have another news to keep an eye out for, another skylab, yeh.
And if this happen, it will be the closest thing we've ever come to the Real Deal yet.
