If the above is the case, might it not be that whilst social collapse ensues they will engage in wars in parallel with the social unrest. , the Middle east will go up in flames, and maybe south east Asia? So, if the countries are in such turmoil will this be used as a counter force to the normal checks and balances that would limit military action? if emergency powers are brought in in any country then the parliaments may be shackled even more , from exerting control over the executive branch. As the Italian government struggled to borrow and Spain considered seeking an international bail-out, British ministers privately warned that the break-up of the euro, once almost unthinkable, is now increasingly plausible.
Diplomats are preparing to help Britons abroad through a banking collapse and even riots arising from the debt crisis.
The Treasury confirmed earlier this month that contingency planning for a collapse is now under way.

This whole situation is getting confusing, I have to go back to what Ben F said about the money machine the IMF has been cut off from their funds and France and Germany are using bankers to solve the problem. Things are looking very dire for the euro, they are trying to draw england in to help save it. No matter what bail outs are a death sentance in the future. Iceland got it right.
