Buoy 55023 faulty?

"Large depth changes since 25 June are due to the Bottom Pressure Recorder being entrapped in the mooring line asit was ascending during maintenance.
Rapid depth changes prior to June 25th are due to a faulty pressure sensor."

Supposedly. What we do know is that they are reading these Nings.

Yes - it doesn't feel right. You would have thought that they'd indicate this fault some time ago as these changes have been with us for some time.
