This white orb started to show on July 16th and is still there moving to the left of the screen toward the sun. Can anyone tell me what this is?

Thank you John and Demian!
Demian, it helps with the detail. I have the Stellaria and I couldn't figure out what it was. I saw Venus but it was further away. I like the Lasco for the CME's. :)
Hi Tammy,
as John already mentioned: that is Venus. The white lines on this picture is something we call blooming- or smear effects. We are talking here about some very sensitive scientific cameras.
Due to this camera effect Venus appears even much larger than it is in real life. Lasco C3 is a scientific camera and highly sensitive. That is the reason why so many people are confused and can not understand that frames.
They even want to see asteroids and comets with it: so small objects. For Paul it might be the winged messenger for the rest of the world it is Venus. You can check that easily with every astronomy programme available Tammy and you can even see, when it will disappear again.
Just look at this picture to get a feeling for the planets.
And here you can see all the transits. Astronomy is a science and no magic art. That is the reason why astronomers normally are always very relaxed and why they just have a good laugh when they read crazy pages like the Ning aka Nancytalk.

Thank you John! It has drove me crazy! :)
Is that white line in front and in back of it, it's orbital path?
