  • Good luck with your MOVE, Be Safe Hairy Derriere. Good info... JOHN
  • Hi Mary - the resolution is in metres and so defaults back to the nearest figure with which it feels comfortable. I have no trouble getting it to show a map with an 850 ft sea-level rise, which is pertinent to the UK.
  • Well I tried the map and had it do, finally, up to 50 ft rise (it defaulted back to 49 feet) The changes I saw and the amount of land that was covered looked hardly any different than the current map.....basically showed a few beaches being lost, so even tho this is an excellent find and concept, think the results are governed by TPTB.
  • You're right Kim, most of us know, but there's nothing like seeing it visually to really ram the point home. For myself, in the UK, it is abundantly clear that hanging around here much longer, with 65m people crowding this island, is simply untenable. It makes me feel better about my decision to move. Perhaps it will help others to do so too.

    HD.
  • Thanks for the link.

Most of us know what sea levels were predicted by the Z's. :p However there are other sources that say different things. And with certain "lies" certain sources can't be trusted, completely. So the question is, how much of a PS will happen, and how much will sea levels rise eventually? What is for sure is if one lives in coastal areas, that is definitely not the place to be when the PS comes.
