I have been wondering about this for a while now. In astronomy when a large star, or a heavy star is close to another star, the larger star eats up the smaller one. So that if PX is a star we are actualy doomed. Which makes me think that it might be something else.

What if it's none of the above, something so rare (but with ancient history), that within today's scientific database it has yet to be successfully/completely defined?

Something questionable that periodically pops into my mind - Sun/Son, what if it is a divine celestial body of historical proportions - God, if you will, coming in all his heavenly glory to do his bidding - our second sun/son.
...on a joking side:
If the so-called PX is a star, it might need to be referred to as SX, not PX.
