Jacob Zuma and Nkandla

I don't know how many people here would be aware of our president and his lavishness. I post two links here. The first is the official story. The second more in line with what I believe is going on there.

Fact is, the money spent is exorbitant. This in a country where the majority of people live in horrid poverty. These are the same people who voted him into power, because he made promises of housing etc etc etc. Of course, very little of that happens because he is a greedy, corrupt and money grabbing crook.

To think $33m spent on security upgrades, and according to the story it is for a fence, a pool and a cattle kraal. What is it made of? Pure gold? When I tell people the only thing that could possible cost that much, is an underground bunker for him, his 5 wives and his numerous children, they think I am crazy.

The worst is, that he simply does not care and yet people still vote for him. It baffles the mind...

  • Amen to that!
  • I am hoping ascension comes quickly as I watch the world in insanity mode.

  • Thank you Byron. I am hoping ascension comes to pass before that becomes necessary. I constantly question the reason for me incarnating here, of all places, when I have an emotional/soul connection to Europe. Any and every attempt I have ever made to leave always failed which made me understand that perhaps this is where I need to be at this time. Making peace with that took me a good long while.
  • Seems that everything bad in our world is politically motivated. Your always welcome here if you need be.

  • Indeed Byron. It is worrisome. It happens everywhere. Very systematic and very under reported. There are very few white people here who have not lost someone to murder. They especially target farmers and this concerns me as my parents farm. What sense is there in killing the people who feeds the nation. Yet, the media is mute on the matter. In South Africa it is still not as blatant as it is in neighboring countries. They keep racial hate alive because it serves them politically.
  • Justin it has been the way of life since the medieval times to live in a castle and be surrounded by serfs. When O went to Africa and said to the black people that not everybody will be allowed to have a nice house and an air conditioner he was telling them they were to be kept poor on purpose.  What is bothering me while watching Africa is that there is a white genocide going on there, I certainly home you are not anywhere near where it is occurring.

  • To some degree. However what happens here in the Western Cape, where I live, it is slightly different. We have a different ruling party (the DA) who is the official opposition of the ANC. The ANC relocates people in the busloads from the Eastern Cape to increase their chances of winning this province as well. This is the only one of nine provinces they don't rule. So they bring the people here. Drop them off in an open piece of land, give them tin to build a shack and then have more voters. However, once they achieve their goal they turn their backs on these people who die of hunger, illness and poverty while they themselves live in incredible luxury subsidized by the tax payer. It is corrupt to the core. And yet, people still vote for them because voting for a party with a white leader won't happen because of the Apartheid legacy. It is sad and horrifying to watch this country burn while the world thinks we are a success story.
  • Yes Sandra. I am more and more convinced that Zuma is in a the loop. If only partially so because of Africa's strategic position if a pole shift should come to pass. I am sure he fancies the idea of being king of the land when/if he crawls out of the bunker. He is in for a rude awakening though because the Cabal has other plans and I am sure he is but merely a pawn.

South Africa Back on The Road to Xhosa-Zulu Conflict!

  • What really irks me is that for that kind of money they could build thousands of houses for people currently living in shacks. They could feed the poor for many years. They could teach people to farm, get community land allocated and teach people to grow their own food. But no, he is entitled.

The story goes much deeper though. The division in the party is now not racial (as in black/white) but tribal. The previous two presidents were Xhosa and Zuma is the first Zulu president. The feud between Xhosa and Zulu has been going on for centuries. Now that the Zulus have power they are not prepared to let it go, hence they support and keep Zuma in power to protect the Zulu dominance. It is all about politics and the poor people on the ground are merely useful. They care not for peace and stability, they care only for grabbing all the wealth and plundering the state coffers.
