Here are the "prepared" figures from the NOAA and / or their associates. Even these figures look a little gruesome. The real projections based on a more accurate or sound analysis may make the likely future outcome far more serious, deadly and catastrophic than any government or organisation could ever plan on, or for.
The big. big question. What's driving and causing these cascading serious of event/s to unfold and speed up so dramatically?
(Maybe I will comment on that and other like things at a later date)
Remember just as in the example of, Lake Meade, In Nevada / Arizona, area, etc / You know, The Hoover Dam, if it sprung a very small leak, just a drop of water every second, then continues to loose a drop of water, through that leak every second, and that a single drop of water leaking, doubled every subsequent second, how long would it take for Lake Meade to lose all its water?
Answer: - It would take approximately 57 minutes, for it to become bone dry, with all of those fishing boats and flapping fish, & water life as well, sitting on the bottom of Lake Meade itself. It's only in the proverbial last 5 minutes ever, where in the case of Lake Meade that around 97% of all of the lakes volume is lost, due that that bloody incessant leak that wouldn't stop.
The same analogy applies in the case of the North Pole and / or the reducing ice flows and accumulation in various and other certain parts of the world, or the warming perma frost, etc. Does the overall population, ever so slowly, really become truly aware of how massive and severe this very certain coming and continuing accumulation of an ever worsening serious of unfolding fiasco's will leave them all, (When the ever so critical event, or irreversible horizon is at hand)

You are right about that Alex. We are kind of flat at the top and bulging at the equator, sort of like a foot ball. But not that much to make the earth look odd.
don't forget about the expanding earth theory. This accounts for many anomalies regarding poles and shifting and iron quotients.

The buldge has little effect on the mag field. It is the iron core that has the say so. Now if the molten core stops spinning, that could be a problem. Our planet is alive B C the core is hot and spinning. If it got cold, we would just be a dead rock in space. Actualy a problem now is that it seems that the molten core is getting hotter and expanding and melting more rock. We all should have a second look at the movie 2012. I thought it was right on! Alex, about the bulg it is mostly water due to our spinn. If we stoped spinning that water would head both North and South untell the water reaches a normal level. There also are places on earth that have a lot of iron on the surface which cause magnetic varients. And If i remember right the artic area is made up of heavy granet which has a lot to do with balence.

I have always been under the impression that this is part and parcel with axial tilt but it does not necessarily deal with precession, this is akin to true polar wandering but even looking at the information above it fluctuates back and forth and our recorded history does not go far enough back to establish if it has deliniated beyond the norm. We are discussing the movement of a magnetic field which is coupled to our inner core which is not a perfect sphere so the figures will never ever line up perfectly. The very shape of the earth affects this field and so there is no confusion the earth is not a perfect sphere either having a buldge near the center.... There are many many factors that define the wandering of the poles and it is in no way a new developement....crustal shifting is plausible but not writen in stone. I am much more concerned with a sudden reversal of the core's magnetic alignment which could actually cause the rest of the crust to follow suit. And yes the sun's agitation can cause this type of reversal of our magnetic field weakens sufficiently....
I've only just read it , but as soon as I saw it I thought it needed posting. another analogy would be an elastic band, stretching until that which is at the end of it, suddenly springs forward, the band is giving energy as it stretches to whatever is attached to the band. in the earths case it is the crust.
If you run the numbers this is what you get, or at least this is what I get. Now I could be wrong but by my cifering, It looks like the North magnetic pole has shifted 15* North and 65* West. And the crust is trying to catch up. The earth will have to balance out sooner or later.
