  • I'm right there with ya, Jason.
  • Well, you know, I'm glad, but at the same time disappointed. Here's what was caught the following day...

    Just a Lens Flare

  • A few months ago I saw a video with the reflection off a windshield and a swimming pool but not as good as this one.
  • If someone is clever and skilled enough in photo altering, and is a logical and technical thinker with an education in light/shape/shadow/, they could painstakingly produce this. But, the question would then be, "Why?"
  • I went out to take a picture of the sun as it was rising, specifically to see what a lens flare looks like while taking a picture. I had several as I was focused on the sun, which was mighty bright. But, they didn't show up on my images when I downloaded them. I intend on trying again at around 3pm, when I have best view of the sun in my area. Will see what happens.

As for the vid, I've watched, stopped, reversed, re-watched, stopped-started in repetitions, etc., trying all which ways to find it being fake. I gave up. There is one question that kept coming to mind... it is in that the supposed second sun is behind the cloud, but is peeping through... I think Brian caught it in his last image post. Do you think there is a break in the cloud, or is it two clouds (one behind, one in front), or what?

  • Can't think of one optical illusion that would cause a reflection on the water..... great time lapse video... thank you for the find Msred
  • That was great thanks msred
