Strange Nature

I have been home for the past several days as I am between projects at work. I have noticed some very strange things pertaining to the birds around my house. The birds keep flying into my windows and window screens. I am used to this happening on occasion but today alone it has happened at least 10 times. Aside from the fact that the sudden bang scares the "bejesus" out of me it is just not normal for this to happen over and over again, is it. Has anyone else noticed strange things in regards to the animals around their homes?

Last month I suffered from a bout of hayfever combined with the rhino virus(aka common cold) which lingered for about 2 weeks until I bothered to go see the doctor. It was utterly horrible. But according to the doctor it has been very common over the summer.

That is sort of what I was thinking but I wasn't sure if their navigation was by using the magnetic fields or something else. It stands to reason that with the magnetic flows all screwy that it would confuse them. Already this morning I heard a big crash from a bird hitting a window. On another strange note, I have had an earache and the resulting vertigo for a month now! I did one round of antibiotics and it helped but the stuffy feeling in the inner ear never went away. Just the pain improved. I am giving it until Monday to clear up. I haven't had an ear infection since I was a kid. The Doctor I saw is elderly and he said in 50 years of practice he has never seen allergies and respiratory issues like he did this summer and so far this fall. This ear thing started with a sinus infection that just kept hanging on!

Sounds funny doesn't it.... but if the earths north pole migrates by about 1000 miles, it would be suffient to cause birds to actually go kamakazi......I don't think they would drop dead as was shown on the day after tomorrow but it would be fairly dramatic the way any mass suicide would appear.

Hey kids keep in mind that birds navigate using the earths magnetic field to determine direction.......two days ago I had a conversation with PB regarding how strange the flight patterns of birds have been.....above all else I asked that she be on the lookout for birds dive bombing the ground that would be a sure sign of a magnetic field realignment. Just a minor heads up to all :)

We have been experiencing that phenomena at my workplace also. One day last week there were five doves dead in one certain area of the building from impacting the glass windows. That was very strange indeed. Yea something is up with the birds.

This was my mother's home before mine and she had the occasional bird hit the large picture window but these birds have been hitting the storm door, kitchen windows, etc. I first noticed it a couple of days ago but yesterday and today it has been sort of like a scene from the Alfred Hitchcock movie, "The Birds"! LOL

Yes and come to think of it, here in south dakota, we were staying at a friend's house and a bird hit the window..early morning like 6 am...wow....interesting.....
