Once again, a concept billed as "good for the people" turns into a totalitarian nightmare. 
Although the leadership of a few Central European  nations are in line with the wishes of their populace, unfortunately most others are not. 
The chasm between the governing bodies and those they rule continues to widen. 
This situation does not bode well for EU's the long-term stability, and could eventually lead to outright rebellion.
