If they could download something to your computer while it was on, what's to say they couldn't have the download sitting at the ready when you turned your computer back on - when computer booted, the download begins?

I am a little late with this, but here is my report. 

At 2pmEST, TV and computer were off. 

At 2:18pmEST, low flying jets flew over...These were not passenger aircraft.  So, if the test lasted 3 minutes, it took 15 minutes to fly over my city.  This was unusual.

The way I look at this whole thing is 1984 where messages from our leader will pop up whenever we least expect them. This is already going to happen to cell phones in the spring. Being afraid of attack went out with the cold war. Mr O is going to hire 500,000 new TSA workers I guess that is his new jobs bill. Since 911 we have lost our freedom and it keeps eroding. Most people are still asleep and will stay that way if they are programed to stay there. Maybe next time this happens we will not be warned. Who does the government work for anyway, certainly not us. The fact that the test failed does not suprise me, ask yourself what do they do right, not much IMO.

A very strange test and it only worked on some on the tv channels.  I wonder what is really behind this?

I am sure that I didn't download anything at home....disconnected the modem all together to ensure no entry.

Are we sure no downloads were done?  If it appeared that the test was a failure then no one would be the wiser. Just saying.  :)
