30 DEGREE SUN WOBBLE THIS AM; How Do I Know?

Got out the old, high-school protractor and measured. My house is directly aligned N-S, E-W, as you may have remembered from my previous blogs. This morning, before 7 am, the sun was so bright, but not in the direct E-W align... That's when I actually measured... 30 degrees off, from 90 back to 60.. coming in at NE, not the direct E, of old. And last night, went to the grocery, 8:00 pm, the sun was still quite high in the sky, but SO bright, and seemed larger somehow. Anyone else notice these things, or do I need new glasses?

Thanks, Joan, that's what I was referring to, also. My dad built this house and I still have the prints.. exactly NS EW.. Thanks, also, Alex, for weighing in... My point was, I guess, I am looking for a definite sign of the pole shift. The N pole will be due W, as I understand.

Alex, you're correct, this is happening as a result of the Earth Wobble, not the sun - that's what I was referring to in my response.

Maybe I am just stuck on symantics but honestly speaking the wobble is occurring to the earth. :) The sun is not really a good marker when it comes to observing the changes occuring simply because light radiates in all directions, the moon on the other hand is a wonderful tool because its smaller than us and we know exactly where it should be on any given day/time.... Just my two cents :)

Wow, I've had a busy weekend and just now catching up with all the goings on. Dianna, a few months ago there was a post on the Gerard's ning about this same topic that was being discussed. When you talk about your home and how it's situated . . . I purchased my home because the sun rose directly in the front and set directly in the west behind our house. As a result of the wobble, the sun now rises north east and sets north west - and Lord is it bright, even my children have noticed. I'll try to find Nancy's response to why this is happening, if you'd like, because she was involved in the discussion.

Yes I have been noticing for years the sun has not been quite right...
