I definitely never expected this from you....my beliefs in Obama are my own and its not of him being the savior, its simply of him not being the anti-Christ which so many believe....  as the torches were being whipped into the air keeping pace with the cacophony of screaming for his head, great way to implement the golden rule, well since the standard has been set maybe you should pull your head out of your own *ss and realize that there are people out there, such as myself that don't ascribe to the sensationalism of the facts, who don't just start throwing stones at someone because they disliked them or because their opinions and choices are different.....  Its called acceptance of the reality that everyone is entitled to their own opinions regardless of how wrong they may be, you included....its part of respect which gets ignored when your thoughts take presidence over the thoughts of others.....  I have never treated you in any fashion other than respectfully but that obviously is not enough if I do not ascribe to your way of seeing the world....  Well I am *ucking done being treated this way by people who I thought were open minded....because I don't portray Obama as an illegitimate president that is the anti-Christ... then so be it.  I am ashamed of your behavior and the behavior of anyone who thinks that berating and putting down another person in some way strengthens your arguments and perspectives.....to everything you have said, I simply replay, let time tell and stop thinking that you know exactly what is coming to pass because no one does definitively.

 

If you want to launch a hate campaign please feel free but realize it reflects much more on you than it does on the person who is your target, BO in this case....  Do much protesting against the Chinese government over what they are doing in Tibet...pretty sure you haven't because its not tolerated....is their behavior just and wonderful in your eyes, towards their own people....more than likely not, seeing as how its damn near totalitarian. 

 

Keith if you feel the need to act this way with me please simply stop talking to me and live your life in peace, you truly are not obligated to even acknowledge my thoughts on any level.....

First off, why the anger Keith, I respect your choices why is it so hard to respect mine.  How in the world did my words offend you when they had absolutely nothing to do with you.  Yes I am a BO supporter(and definitely fall into the minority when it comes to it, yet I defend my stances and maintain to my beliefs) and I love this country with all of its flaws and what not, how is that an insult to you.  I am willing to wait and see where it gets me, please keep in mind I don't see FEMA camps as concentration camps as so many do on this site and yes I have said as much.  I don't vilify the entire US government because I don't know them well enough to do as much.....  I have no intention of leaving this country so asking for advice on how to leave this country was not too high on my list of priorities, and yes I have said as much in the past.....

 

I am still shocked that you would take things in the direction you did when it had absolutely nothing to do with you nor your choices nor you opinions....which I didn't see posted, nor did I disrespect them.....

 

What am I missing here Keith?  If you hate the US government, you are entitled to, if you hate the American way of life, you are entitled to, if you see this nation for the cesspool you consider it, you are entitled to but please let me have my own perspective on American and its people even if it differs from yours....

Yesterday I read the post about the American couple that moved to Australia for 5 or 6 years then moved back and I loved the read, the clear presentation of experiences and above all else the honesty.  The theme was basic and straight forward, the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence....I personally use the saying slightly differently, "You are just as likely to step in *hit on either side of the fence"....  Yes things may not be great in this country but I would never choose another.  Look forward to reading this post.
