Peter, I'm leaning towards those conclusions myself.  Something is definitely different with this "comet."

Cheryl, BPEarthWatch says for one image showing an object behind ISON that the object behind is "not an asteroid following, it's a star" ..... I took that to mean that it was just a passing star when the picture was taken.

Much of the other information regarding the "jet" seems to verify to me that ISON is being guided somehow by close flying craft.

And the magnetosphere is taking a battering - I suspect worse to come - hold tight!

The size of this thing, being multiple sizes larger than earth, sounds like Earth will get slammed in the debris trail. 

And when he says an asteroid is not following Ison, it's a star, what does he mean?  A brown dwarf star, or was it just passing a star when the picture was taken?

And, if the magnetosphere is already coming close to collapse, is that not predictive of worse to come?

I suspect the shield collapse was a results of interference by H A R P.  And the results of the close approach of comet ISON could very well cause a pole shift.  Only time will tell.
