On the eve of the discovery of a duplicate Earth, tragedy strikes and the lives of these strangers become irrevocably intertwined. Another Earth has limited USA opening on 22 July 2011. Great science fiction tells stories about people in extraordinary environments or situations that serve to open up the vast, still largely unexplored terrain of the human heart. Mike Cahill's "Another Earth" is science fiction at its best.

Thx.Alex. I found it's not showing here in the San Diego area. I’d have to go to LA,..So I'll probably wait for it to come out on DVD. It seems if you're not a well-known Producer/Director like Spielberg or Lucas...it's hard to get a good showing. @Rosemary, that's interesting. I hadn't realized it was a take-off from the Outer Limits.. @Byron..So true. We’re being bombarded!

I remember watching, I think it was the old black and white Outer Limit TV show. The story is different, but a bit similar. An Astronaut is asked to land on a planet on the other side of the sun. When he lands there, he discover that he actually came back to earth, but as he goes home to his wife and kinds, he notice that everything is the opposite of what he is use to. He talks to his superior about it but he is branded has being suffering from mental trouble.

That movie looks interesting.

Hopefully, this wasn't posted previously..it looks like a good movie.. Hollywood does seem to be prepping the public.
