ALEX NICELY SAID
I like this discussion. And I find it comforting to know we think alike. I am the one in my family that is the most progressive & open minded. However, I could not wrap my little mind around the alien channeler concept. I believe there are ETs & I have no reason to think that they would not try to communicate with us. But all this channeling with aliens made me uneasy and I felt it was cheesy. This in turn, made our attempts for prepping look insane to say the least. I have become much more skeptical of late. Even though the Earth changes seem to continue to ramp up.
Nibiru seems the most plausible reason to me. A poleshift caused by a flyby fits many of the prophecies based on what I have read.
Unfortunately, I am unable to prepare for my family to ride this out. One person who is fighting a handicap, working full-time, and trying to prep for 8 people who fight you every step of the way are insurmountable odds. I had to give up. And find joy while there is time left available. I still try to keep my fingers on the pulse. I can not change the outcome. Only God can save us. And that's where it stands for me and mine. My family knows how much I cared for them. That is important.
Keith, money is definitely a point to watch. However, just because a channel requires money does not necessarily mean the channel is a fake or only money-motivated. Look at how much "free" disinformation there is on the net.
Books and things at low cost shouldn't be an issue. However, recurring purchases, such as "you must purify your body so you can be spiritual enough to ascend and only this product, which only we carry, is the best mineral cleanse available, and it's only $49.99 per month, for the rest of your life" would be a red flag.
Channels that speak in generalities only are red flags because the information is too generic and can fit most anyone or any situation. Like, "there will be an earthquake in Japan" is too general because it's a given that Japan will have an earthquake at some time or another.
Channels that give personal readings shouldn't be an issue since they are rendering a personal service. When seeking a channel, never give much information up front to prevent the unscrupulous from just regurgitating it back to you. When you find an ethical (real) channel, then the money is worth the advice.
Good points, Alex. Folks, just remember ANYONE can post ANYTHING about ANYONE AND ANYTHING. People can pretend to be anyone or anything they want to be. There are no regulatory commissions.
And each group seems to hold the copyright on TRUTH. They can't all be right. So, note that down on your core beliefs sheet to remind yourself.
Vested interests keep everyone off in their little corners. If people could just get honest and work together, we would be able to figure things out a lot faster. I rather suspect the ETs would work with us, but how can we work with them if we can't even work with individual elements of our own species?
Rots a ruck, as Scooby Doo would say.
Byron, it seems we are still looking for a saviour and tend to latch on to anything that seems credible. Mythi could have started out real but was taken over by the disinformation machine. Look what happened to Dutchsinse. I believe he was genuine and was forcibly taken out of the picture. ZT labels him disinfo and I don't think that is a correct assessment. It was all too obvious he was a caring individual who got sucker punched.
So, the thing to do is make a list of your core beliefs. What do YOU believe is true? For me, that list includes the fact that earth changes have been going on for years and continue to increase in number and severity. There is no denying that fact. From that fact, I can extrapolate that something is causing it and also infer that since weird things are happening to all the planets in our solar system that the cause is something outside of planet Earth (and possibly something outside of our solar system). A planet-x-type object can fit into the "cause" category. Could anything else? Perhaps the galactic plane alignment? Possibly.
Anyway, whatever the causation, if a storm is on the horizon and it is getting bigger and more dangerous and moving your way, what do you do? Do you stand there, totally vulnerable, and do nothing until you can decide what is causing the storm? Of course not! You prepare. You gather what you feel you will need to survive and then you get out of the way, to the furthest extent possible. The severity of this current storm (PX) definitely looks extreme, but this situation isn't all that different as far as what we can do to survive it. Some ETs have said they will meet us halfway, so that means we need to do SOMETHING to help ourselves and to help others.
So, I am sure more Mythis will come along and I don't discount that there are friendly ETs helping us with this situation but you have to be very discerning in this age of disinformation.
The points where Mythi lost me were, first, where he said to just stand under a rock outcropping to protect from solar radiation. First, it's not likely many people will have a convenient rock outcropping when they need it. Second, is the issue of skyshine (quotes and links at bottom).
Both solar radiation (in flares, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_flares) and nuclear radiation are electromagnetic and contain gamma rays (biologically hazardous component of fallout, see http://www.oism.org/nwss/s73p916.htm). While I don't know if the intensities are the same, I would also factor in radiation from a passing large object and just play it as safe as possible.
What information I've found pertains to nuclear blasts and resulting fallout, and the worst danger is the gamma rays (a penetrating form of radiation) from fallout. You need to be underground (with at least three feet of dirt all around) to shield from radiation. Even in fallout shelters that have a small doorway, you have to stay away from that area because the radioactive particles bounce around and can get inside and kill you.* To me, this was a "shallow trench" solution... utterly deficient. The second red flag was him saying that the px-type-object was only 38 days behind. When PX is that close, there will be no doubt of its existence... anywhere on this planet. By that statement, it should only be 16 days away now. Has anything changed radically to indicate the rapid approach of that monster? No. Is it going to happen by Thanksgiving? No.
It might be helpful to keep a list of your core beliefs and run statements like these by it. I forget half the time what I know, not forget but "out of sight out of mind" and sometimes it comes to me later, in one of those hey, wait a minute! moments. D'oh!
I hope this helps.
* http://www.oism.org/nwss/s73p916.htm:
"The trenches for entry and emergency exit were dug only 22 inches wide, to minimize radiation entering the shelter through these openings."
"The family sat and slept along the left wall, to be better shielded from radiation coming through the openings."
"... the man in the trench would not be protected from "skyshine," which is caused by gamma rays scattering after striking the nitrogen, oxygen, and other atoms of the air. The man's exposed head, which is just below ground level, would be hit by about one-tenth as many gamma rays as if it were 3 feet above ground (Fig. 5.3). Even if all fallout could be kept out of the trench and off the man and every part of the ground within 3 feet of the edges of the trench, skyshine from heavy fallout on the surrounding ground could deliver a fatal radiation dose to the man in the open trench. (emphasizing another reason the shallow-trench theory is deficient)
"Skyshine reaches the ground from all directions. If the man were sitting in a deeper trench, he would escape more of this scattered radiation, but not all of it. For good protection he must be protected overhead and on all sides by barrier shielding."
