Comet ISON gets roasted by the sun, but did it survive?

The 'comet of the century' appeared to have survived its dalliance with the sun, but not entirely intact.  A NASA update released early Friday, Nov. 29, confirmed the sighting of what appears to be Comet ISON.

Notice in the video that it does not show ISON coming out the other side, though the still shots lower down do show it.

"I think the next couple of days will be interesting and hopefully that will be enough time to figure out what is really going on," solar astrophysicist C. Alex Young told SPACE.com.
