  • Byron,

No surprise, they always appoint their cronies.

  • I find it no coincidence that the now Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel was the owner of Diebold voting machine company. Even when he was elected senator in has state the people had a hard time finding people who voted for him. He is certainly not qualified for his current position and appears to be there for his reward.

  • Right, Donald and Keith.  The elections are tampered with.  Go back to the year 2000 and Al Gore.  Then before the last election one company that collected the votes (in Florida) sold out to a company that tabulated the votes (in Spain).  No conflict of interest there.  Then all the reports of dead people voting, people being bussed to other areas to vote again, illegal aliens voting, machines showing Obama was selected when the voter had selected someone else, etc.  If memory serves correctly, both parties were guilty.  So, saying "a majority of the people voted him in" has little meaning when our election process is broken.   Likely, it's broken beyond repair.

  • Keith

Good point about elections, even before you cast you ballot you are only given a choice of two people which is not really your choice it is theirs of who they want you to chose from and they already know the results. We don't choose anybody and this seems to have been going on a lot longer than NWO daddy bush. In the state of NV it is illegal to not have an ID on you but the DOJ wants it legal to vote without an ID there fore we have a very large portion of dead people voting and also pets. Anyone without an ID of some sort should be deemed incompetent to vote in this day and age anyway. A very large portion of this country was behind Ron Paul but he was not allowed to be in the TV debate more that a couple times because he was a very dangerious man with all his talk of restoring this country to a democratic Republic when the socialists had worked so hard to destroy it, that was not allowed to happen.

  • One more thing,

Elections are surely part of the pacification program to keep the human herd distracted.

For more info on the pacification program please review Cheryl's post here.

If you are still not convinced, then give yourself a little time and maybe light bulb will possibly switch on.

  • Anyone that is under the illusion that US elections are genuine, and votes by the people count for results has not done their homework. Elections in this country have been and still are completely manipulated by various different methods above and beyond machines being hacked. Based on a persons consciousness of reality, the group that is doing the manipulation can be whomever that person chooses. It is obvious the voters have no effect on election outcomes.

If one does not believe this and still believes their vote counts, then that person should do some research to get clarity on the subject. It is clear as a bell that voting machines and the voting systems are a complete fraud.

Here are a few links to get a person started but the number of reports now are so numerous that one must be totally asleep to have missed any of them.

  • Right, Susan, and everyone remember.  Countering is fine.  However, we are not here to proslytize or convert anyone's views.  Present your information and move on.  Hopefully, we will all learn from each other.

  • Now, the housing comment, Our housing market is healing.

This first article, dated January 10, 2013, states:  "The housing market in 2013 stands on a precipice. While there is hope that the slow, but real, housing recovery that took hold last year will continue, fear remains that a sudden economic dip of the kind that could be caused by fiscal disputes in Washington will send the housing market back in retreat."

Well, the fiscal disputes in DC are here:

As with so many other types of economic activity, the government shutdown is causing more fear than actual harm in the housing market thus far.

But that doesn't mean things won't start going wrong in the very near future.

    ...

The market, which had grown more robust over the past couple of years, was starting to cool off this fall anyway, due to rising prices and interest rates.

There are numerous mentions of impending market corrections and other dire economic issues that could put housing back into relapse, not the least of which is the outcome of the DC disputes.  So, saying housing is healthy can be a momentary thing.  After all, real estate is known for its bust and boom cycles.

  • Okay, onto the job creations statistic.  I'm not quickly finding anything current, but here is something about the jobs mentioned in the 2013 State of the Union, which was back in January or so:

“After years of grueling recession, our businesses have created over 6 million new jobs.”

The president is cherry-picking a number that puts the improvement in the economy in the best possible light. The low point in jobs was reached in February 2010, and there has indeed been a gain of about 6 million jobs since then, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data. But the data also show that since the start of his presidency, about 1.2 million jobs have been created — and the number of jobs in the economy is about 3.2 million lower than when the recession began in December 2007.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-checker/post/fact-checking...

    In this article, http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/02/13/fact-check-on-obama-stat...:

OBAMA: "After years of grueling recession, our businesses have created over 6 million new jobs."

THE FACTS: That's in the ballpark, as far as it goes. But Obama starts his count not when he took office, but from the point in his first term when job losses were the highest. In doing so, he ignores the 5 million or so jobs that were lost on his watch, up to that point.

Private sector jobs have grown by 6.1 million since February 2010. But since he became president, the gain is a more modest 1.9 million.

And when losses in public sector employment are added to the mix, his overall jobs record is a gain of 1.2 million.

So moving forward from the 2013 State of the Union address, this recent article claims 75% of the jobs added this year are part time and low paid:  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/21/part-time-job-creation_n_3....  While Obamacare is cited as a cause, part time work was already increasing because of the weak economy.

  • You're welcome, Susan.  If I did the overall analysis correctly, in terms of the increases and decreases in the deficit throughout their watches, it seems that Bush and Obama have a similar batting average, just in a different range.
