88 Daytona: I drive this. Had it since it was new and I vowed to show everyone that there would be a lot less stuff in junk yards if people maintained their vehicles properly. Of course, the big auto makers have made a lot of duds in the past which do not last as long as this model did (along with a fantastic engine). It is disgusting to see brand new stuff though sitting in a junk yard. That is crazy.

Keith, maybe that's why cars that used to cost $5000 new, now cost $50,000. Maybe the consumer is paying for all that wastage.
We can't hurt our fragile recovery by laying of people before the mid term elections and changing the unemployment rate.
Why do they keep manufacturing them? To make people think the economy is better than it is? Maybe they should go BOGO.
With the condition of the economy I can see this happening a lot more in the future.
