Those ( 50 years ago )  were CONTROLLED entry. The satellite was UNCONTROLLED entry.

I believe they can track ANYTHING!  They can track a missile, MACH speed jets, and they want to say they cant track a bus sized object?  Really?!  Come on, I may have been born at night but it wasn't last night!

Byron, I may be confused by your writing . . . the US gov can easily track anything accept a UFO at light speed.  I believe that they were CTA's by saying "they don't want the technology falling into enemy hands".

CNN reported something similar - how can they not be able to track where and when the satellite will hit the earth.  They very well can and the report indicates that they don't want our "enemies" getting a hold of it.  IDK . . . that's what was said.
