Its good to see them preparing up big time and doing the right thing. However the blog youtube trying to imply that FEMA know something big is going to happen with the New Madrid Fault is spreading the wrong message. This man is putting the exercise requisitions out of proportion. FEMA can't predict the Madrid. They are just pulling up their socks just in case and not because they know 'something' that the public doesn't. Many countries are preparing for disasters as it now become apparent that natural disaster is on an increase. Of course this is not to say that the New Madrid big disaster isn't coming anytime soon.

I heard that this requisition is related to an alleged "exercise" the gov't is doing.  If so, that's a lot of stuff for just an exercise.

They also order for under water body bags, packaged meals in millions. The question come to my mine is isn't this their job?- to make routine preparation and stocking up on emergencies items? What we need to see if there was such orders in the past before we jump into any conclusion what FEMA is doing. I don't know? if anyone can distinguish that these new solicitations are unprecedented in nature and in size.
