Alex, a big cloud of radiation will circle the earth. It is like flying over head with a big salt shaker and shaking all the salt on the ground. Each time it circles the salt builds up and this salt is radioactive!
That was a very short interview! If memory serves me Cesium 137 has a half life of only 30 years. That means that after 30 years things would return back to normal. If Japan handels the rods the same way as they have handled the rest of the problem we are all in deep dudu!
