I plan to get rid of the flat-screen TV and wi-fi, and am looking into going onto a Linux computer platform to get away from all this crap. Screw electronics. Life was so much better without it.

The question isn't why, it's the fact that they can spy on people through everyday electronics.
Why in the world would someone hack a baby's monitor? Good God some people just need to get a life.
