Just reminds me of the Dust Bowl of the Thirties which affected 100,000,000 acres centered on the panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma, and adjacent parts of New Mexico, Colorado, and Kansas.... By the way it was caused by man.....

There is sand scattered all over Arkansas.  Just a lot more closer to the Mississippi River.  Years ago we used to go swimming in a place where the bottom was all sand. Parts of Arkansas was part of the Ocean millions of years ago.
