My internet was down for nearly two days. The story is that there was a computer glitch, followed by a surge that wiped out memory. A technician had to come out and reconfigure the modem.

Keith, it makes one wonder doesn't it!
Another post on this: http://pjmedia.com/tatler/2013/06/07/your-computer-is-bugging-your-...
My laptop freezes but I have popups suppressed. It lasts about the same amount of time. I always get a freeze-up in the evenings, no matter how long I've been on.
Time to get out of Silcon Valley Dodge.
Cheryl, my PC keeps freezing then a pop-up at the top of the page says "Cannot connect to Mozilla Firefox" - or words like that - generally this only lasts 10 - 20 seconds (sometimes longer) - but seems to be happening more frequently.
Also here's an interesting post on Cybertribe: http://cybertribenetwork.blogspot.com.au/2013/06/you-are-being-moni...
What do you mean by "drop out" cuz I've been having various problems with my laptop.
Another thing that has been happening more regularly lately is that Mozilla Firefox frequently tends to drop out for short periods. I don't know if it's a problem with my PC, my modem, my internet provider, Mozilla Firefox or for some other reason. Anyone else having similar problems?
Byron, I realize your comment was sarcastic in nature and I was not offended in the least. March on, my friend, march on!
Kim if they can see light years into space they can read a bubblegum wrapper with ease. The reason so many ancient civilizations are being found is because there is an X-ray satellite doing it. I have also heard there is a payed version of Goggle Earth that will show you live pictures of what happened yesterday just about anywhere in the world weather permitting.
Yes, Byron, I read that article several days ago. Disgusting. Ha, they will not find any interesting info in my gmail account :p In this electronic age, I don't think there is a way to avoid this completely. Get this, my friend's husband works at Site R, and they have a live satellite feed trained on his property 24/7. So, if they can do that, you can be watched from space no matter where you are at.
Look what just popped up on my computer. http://www.naturalnews.com/040659_internet_surveillance_police_stat...
Oh yes Byron that is right, computer spying has already been happening...
