I have noticed that the quakes are usually on the right side of the ring of fire, then the next side over and over.  It is seldom all lit up at once.  To me this may be a sign of the wobble.  Or it could point out that the earth's speed is very erratic, speeding up then slowing down.  Or worse maybe it is trying to tilt then bouces back. 10957984898?profile=original

  • Possibly, Keith.  Caribbean/So Am is doing something weird but that doesn't necessarily mean that is where an earthquake will manifest.  It might be a footprint of magma on the move and an earthquake will pop somewhere else, depending on many factors like tilt of the earth (if it is wobbling), whether sunward side or not (anyone ever do a study to see when these earthquakes happened...more when facing the sun or less?) or where the pressure just finally reaches a critical point, or a combination of things.
  • Its possible Jim but it could just as easily be caused by magma welling up within our core just on a ramped up scale due to the suns activity of late.... just my thoughts.

  • That seems quite logical Cheryl!
  • Someone recently was thinking it was going in a certain direction...Chile to Christchurch to Japan, and speculated that next stop would be the US west coast.
