  • Just syntax I should have said: I think when an island sinks or a giant rift opens up in the middle of a continent, we will have reached the 7 out of 10 that we keep hearing about. I mean literally read what I typed :) And by short of epic I realize that it could mean a shift in the New Madrid fault which could really put a serious hamper on my relocation plans.... I hate that I need a major catastrophe as the catalyst that sets my plans in motion. I so wish nothing comes to pass.
  • lol, I don't see anything wrong with what you wrote either, Alex.
  • Nothing wrong with what you wrote, Alex.
  • wow I should read what I write....
  • I think when an island sinks or a giant rift opens up in the middle of a continent that we have reached the 7 out of 10 that we keep hearing about. Short of epic I will not settle......as if its my choice hehehe. I fear immensely for China and those who find themselves below the 3 Gorges Dam. When that structure breaks, I know its time to change my lifestyle immediately.
  • Wow, So we are in the 5-6-7 mag earthquake range, what stage is this related to the 7 out of 10 - remember that?
  • Thanks for covering for me Joe on the pics.

  • good morning.
  • There have also been a number of smaller quakes within the Pacific Plate, 5.0 - 6.0 over the past day as well.
