  • Done away with altogether! Lobbyists  cough cough bad word in mouth!

  • Breaking up the political parties is also something that needs to happen.  And, funding of these parties should also be regulated so that each party gets a certain amount, so there is a level playing field.  Also, requirements of what the party's agenda is, rather than mud slinging.  And, then, any party not living up to its campaign promises will have their pay cut (and/or other sanctions) to the degree promises are willfully not fulfilled.

I for one am sick of paying for incompetence and or refusing to do the job for which a congressional was hired to do.  Anyone caught pushing unConstitutional agendas will be terminated and prosecuted immediately.  Anyone caught turning a blind eye to others doing same, gets the same punishment.  This is, of course, in accordance with laws.

    I rest my case:

  • It's just common sense, and way long overdue.  I think it is the embedding in of the "career" kids that enables corruption.  I would also add that former congressional members be disallowed from ever lobbying, and that lobbyists themselves be severely limited in their activities, if not done away with altogether.  Only big money can get to the congressionals, which always leaves the common folk out of the picture.

  • Long over due.  This would also be a great way to break up party politics and give independents more equality in the political process. Unfortunately, this is only one badly needed candidate finance reform, but a good start.
