PRESIDENT CHANGES MILITARY FUNERALS
When I received this email, I could not believe it... So, I checked with Snopes... I learned that it is TRUE:http://WWW.snopes.Com/politics/military/funeral.asp
There has been a change in U.S. military burial protocol! This is a letter that my good friend's husband wrote today after his uncle's funeral yesterday. If Obama does not want his name associated with our military, he does not deserve to be "The President of the United States". - Alice Frankovitch
REMEMBER THIS on NOVEMBER 6, 2012
Dear Sean, Today I was incensed at the conclusion of a traditional Serbian-Orthodox funeral for my beloved 85-year-old uncle, Daniel Martich, who proudly served in the US Army during the Korean conflict. During the committal service at a Pittsburgh cemetery the local military detachment performed their ritual, then folded and presented the American Flag to my aunt. As I'm sure you have witnessed during military funerals, a soldier bends to one knee and recites a scripted message to a surviving relative that begins 'On behalf of the President of the United States and a grateful nation, I wish to present you with this flag in appreciation for your husband's service ..' However, today the dialogue was 'On behalf of the Secretary of Defense and a grateful nation...' After the service, I approached the soldier who presented the flag to my aunt to inquire about the change in language. His response was: "The White House notified all military funeral service detachments to immediately remove 'the President' and insert 'the Secretary of Defense'. I couldn't believe what I heard! The soldier just smiled and said, "You can draw your own conclusion, Sir, but that was the order". He, too, was ashamed of what he was required to say. Obama has taken off the gloves. My only response to this endless cesspool of anti-American rhetoric dripping from his mouth is to borrow a phrase "with one minor change" uttered by another temporary Washington resident living in government housing (his wife!): "Today for the first time in my adult life, I am ashamed of the current U.S. President!" I did not serve in the military but my love of country parallels that of people like my late uncle who bled red, white and blue. As a second generation Serbian-American who's heritage produced many patriotic military men and women who fought for freedom both in the United States as well as in the former Yugoslavia (most recently in Kosovo against the slaughter of Serbs by Muslim extremists), I implore you to make the American people aware of this little-known or, at least, publicly acknowledged fact. May God Bless you and your family during these difficult times. Your voice of reason is a welcome change from the insanity plastered across the country by the liberal media. Keep up the great work and thank you for your service to our country. Sincerely, John G. Martich Weirton, WV (304) 374-3518

PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO FRIENDS AND REMEMBER 2012 IS TIME FOR A NEW PRESIDENT AND COMMANDER IN CHIEF

Here's another one from email. I'm posting because it has a real name attached to it, like the one above:
OBAMA STOPS SOLDIER FROM SPEAKING
Something you'll want to be aware of: Obama stops soldier from speaking.....Sent by Retired Vice Admiral Bob Scarborough, of Arlington, Va. "I wanted to give you all some disturbing information on our wonderful president. I work with the Catch-A-Dream Foundation, which provides hunting and fishing trips to children with life-threatening illnesses. This past weekend we had our annual banquet/fundraiser event in Starkville ..
As a part of our program, we had scheduled Sgt. 1st Class Greg Stube to come;
he's a highly decorated U.S. Army Green Beret and inspirational speaker who was severely injured while deployed overseas and didn't have much of a chance for survival.
Greg is stationed at Ft. Bragg , NC and received permission from his commanding officer to come speak at our function.
Everything was on go until Obama made a policy that NO
U.S. SERVICEMAN CAN SPEAK AT ANY FAITH-BASED PUBLIC EVENTS ANYMORE. Needless to say, Greg had to cancel his speaking event with us. Didn't know if anyone else was aware of this new policy. You're just starting to see the Obamanation. This is just how the Nazis did it in the 1930s - slowly, one step at a time. This should be forwarded to everyone regardless of party affiliation! We have lost 50% of our freedom of speech in the last 2 years. The news media is not allowed to print anything negative about Obama.
ARE YOU STILL GOING TO REELECT HIM??????????? Remember you have be warned take it serious...

I believe that we need to look at ALL the information given us and make up our own mind about it. But, we also need to look at that same information with an open mind and see all the possibilities. At this point we really don't know what is fact or fiction in regards to the media and need to disseminate that information as best we can. I think we all feel something is coming we just don't know what or when. There are many channel's stating "SOON" and we are left feeling "Yea right, here we go again". pfft
The wars in the middle east are all about power. I heard say that "He who controls the middle east controls the world". Taking that statement you can see that the wars are political and very strategic in nature. Again, it all revolves around POWER and who has the most of it. :)
thank you for changing the subject Tammy. I keep saying it takes only a very small monkey to knock a wrench into a big machine and bring it to a halt. if it is in the right place and a teaspoonful of sand or gravel will bring a D12 bulldozer to a halt, if done the right way. Try the injectors!!!!
likewise, you may have six or so men and women in a platoon, or whatever, who have listed to Drake and such, maybe even this website, and take the opportunity, suddenly bringing a whole airbase or so ti a halt. thus operations against Iraq and Syria mysteriously are called off. we will never know who is working for whom, in the end as Drake says, if you want to know the person in charge look in the mirror in the morning.
We all have our different personalities and that is what makes us unique. There is a lot of disinformation on all sides going around now because (my theory) TPTB are just as scared as we are of what is getting ready to happen. They are scared because their power will be obsolete and they will hold no control over the rest of us.Some of us are scared of the unknown yet excited at the same time.
On a personal note: I believe there is always a grain of truth in any conspiracy theory. If you think it this way, you can have a more open mind to the possibility of this or anything else being either true or false. I have done some research on various things and have found that when you really look deep into it, there is some dirty dealings going on!
it is a highly complex subject. I do not drink these days, have no touched a drop for twenty years or so, and will never touch alcohol. this is personal issue with me. there is a belief I hold, we should not do anything to obliterate our consciousness which is precious. it may be meliorated, but my own philosophy is to face pain every single drop to the last dregs as this is a powerful spiritual lesson we can learn. I make no judgments on others, -- I may be wrong--this is my on way of dealing with reality. . Life is good for me so maybe I have learned one or two lessons perhaps????
but the whole point is this . how we deal with lifes pains, do we run away from them or do we succumb to poor options like alcohol and dugs, hat just masks them.? Love covers a great deal, it covers our relationship with ourselves, unless we are able to love ourselves, we are hardly able to love others . and karma may be all that life throws at us, not much in the way of love, and wisdom is knowing the best way of dealing with a bad situation. Escaping our lessons is not spiritual, it is shallow. these are deeply spiritual lessons, how to find, love and wisdom, and love is a state of mind, as is wisdom... Karma is dealing with the obstacles in the way of these qualities. this was the point I was making, but nothing more said on this.
ps there have been many a sorrows drowned in a pint or two of beer, especially Irish beer, but it never solved any of them , now the only sorrow is the sheer expense of buying a pint of beer!!!!! LOL
While that is very valid, Nicholas, I was speaking more of spiritual lessons... love, respect, tolerance, etc.
I sure learned from my experiences. mainly you cannot drown misery and emotional daily pain in beer. or any drug. it wears off, the headaches take all day to clear, and the daily grind goes on. better to face the pain and deal with it, than try to hide behind alcohol. I don't touch the stuff, never will these days whatever happens.
and I am sure Arthur Guinness died a happy man!!! and it is a very tasty brew, have had many a headache from it....in the bad old days.....
Peace is good. Very good. And some souls grew from the experience, I think.
