The  push to  Lobby  in  every  State to Privatize  all  prisons,  looks  a lot  like  the  Lobbying that  goes  on in  Capital Hill.  Corporations, Big Pharma and  Banks buy Congressmen  , Senators ,Legislative  and  Administrative  members on a  Federal   level.  Private  Corp Prisons buy Governors and everyone in between on a State  level on their way to Capitol Hill.  ( All Roads lead to Rome ?).

Let the world know that the New River Valley Regional Jail in Pulaski, VA spends 88 cents a day, yes, that's right, 88 cents a day to feed its inmates.  They are hungry and malnourished by not enough food and the cheapest quality of food obtainable.  Privately owned, they cut every corner to cut costs so somebody can make a killing.  Whatever each inmate's crimes might be, they were not sentenced to starvation.
