Nibiru = Jupiter?

Someone on Don Adams page stated that he has been watching Jupiter for years, and that he can now see it with binoculars - unable to before - he senses that the planet is getting closer to Earth (as are others).

Alex, I think that what noplanetX, whoever he or she might be, is saying is Nibiru can be used as another name for Jupiter... the Babylonians "sometimes used the word to describe the movement of Jupiter, or Marduck..."

Is there truth to/in his/her statement? I do not know. But, it is yet another angle to be considered.

Correct me if I am wrong but many if not all of the societies you mentioned have a better understanding of astrology than we do.....have more accurate star maps until recently and have been know to understand the concept of celestial progression....you are telling me these people couldn't distinguish between a rogue planet in our solar system and Jupiter.....sorry I have to disagree, the logic just doesn't make sense to me.  I am not saying that Nibiru even exist I am just saying that my knowledge compared to those of ancient times is lacking....so to assume that its an issue of misinterpretation seems a little far fetched don't you think.  Just my thoughts msred....for all I know it could just as easily be Jupiter....
